Dong Nai established a Steering Committee on social housing development.

(DN) - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Vo Tan Duc has just signed Decision No. 1549/QD-UBND to establish the Steering Committee on social housing development and implementation of housing support policies for policy beneficiaries in Dong Nai province.

According to the decision, the Steering Committee is headed by Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Vo Tan Duc; Provincial Party Committee member, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Ho Van Ha is Deputy Head.

The members of the Steering Committee are leaders of agencies and units including: Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province; Provincial Military Command; Provincial Police; Provincial People's Committee Office; Department of Finance; Department of Construction; Department of Agriculture and Environment; Department of Home Affairs; Management Board of Industrial Parks and Economic Zones of the province; Provincial Labor Federation; Provincial Land Fund Development Center, Provincial Social Policy Bank Branch; Dong Nai Newspaper, Radio and Television. The standing agency of the Steering Committee is the Department of Construction.

The Steering Committee is responsible for directing the completion of social housing development targets in Dong Nai province according to Decision No. 338/QD-TTg dated April 3, 2023 of the Prime Minister approving the Project "Investing in the construction of at least 1 million social housing apartments for low-income earners and industrial park workers in the period 2021-2030"; Decision No. 444/QD-TTg dated February 27, 2025 of the Prime Minister assigning targets for completing social housing in 2025 and the following years until 2030 for localities to add to the socio -economic development targets.

At the same time, the Steering Committee is responsible for researching, directing, coordinating, and implementing housing support policies for policy beneficiaries in Dong Nai province. At the same time, it coordinates and implements solutions to problems or proposes to competent authorities to solve problems related to social housing development and implementation of housing support policies for policy beneficiaries in Dong Nai province.
