In her opening speech, Vice President of the City Women's Union Nguyen Thi Huyen said that supporting female traders to get acquainted with and apply technology to business activities is one of the activities with practical significance in the current period. Regarding activities to support women in economic development, in addition to supporting enterprises/cooperatives/business households/women startups to improve capacity, support capital, and connect product output; the Union will focus on supporting female traders in digital transformation and applying digital technology to business activities.
Currently, the city has 74 markets of all kinds with more than 22,000 small traders doing business in traditional markets. Faced with the difficult business situation of female traders in the markets due to the rise of digital commerce, relevant sectors in the city have stepped in, supporting small traders to gradually approach digital transformation to apply in business activities, and have applied non-cash payment methods.
The program of a series of activities accompanying female traders in digital transformation, green connection and circular economic development in 2024 in Hoa Vang district aims to help women gradually change their awareness, gain knowledge about digital transformation, e-commerce, green economy to combine traditional business and e-commerce in the coming time. Thereby helping women change their production and business thinking, contributing to improving their economic power and position in their family and society.
This is one of the practical and necessary activities to accompany and support female traders to be more confident in the process of accessing knowledge about green economy, circular economy in agricultural development; about technology, applying it effectively to their business activities; helping them have a favorable - green - clean - civilized business environment, ensuring quality, having livestream sales programs to attract more customers to the market...
At the program, women listened to speakers and reporters share and discuss topics such as: Benefits of e-commerce on ZaloOA, livestream sales in the current period; training knowledge about Livestream Sales for female traders, instructions on livestreaming some samples of products being sold at the market; training knowledge about green economy, circular economy in agriculture.
In addition, the City Women's Union supports the establishment of a livestream point to guide female traders who want to livestream to sell products right at the market; in addition, consulting, connecting, displaying, introducing, promoting and selling products related to green economy and community tourism of 11 communes in Hoa Vang district and 8 units from the Da Nang Women's Startup Club.
On this occasion, the Women's Union of Hoa Vang district launched the Executive Board of the network connecting female entrepreneurs, female traders and female startups in the district, aiming to gather a network of women doing business in the district to support each other to develop, contributing to the socio-economic development of Hoa Vang district.
