On the afternoon of May 21, a large audience came to watch and enthusiastically cheer for the play "Mother of the Street Singers" by author and director Huynh Lap at Truong Hung Minh Stage. Previously, the two shows on May 20 caused a ticket fever, the organizers had to sell extra tickets for soup seats placed right at the entrance to meet the demand of the large number of viewers.

The play "Mother of the Street Singers" caused a ticket fever because it met the following criteria: comedy with content; actors performing many funny acts; gathering famous actors alongside the young force who are the pillars of Truong Hung Minh stage.

What was more surprising was the interaction between three artists: Minh Nhi, Viet Huong and Huynh Lap, which brought laughter and emotions that moved the audience to tears.

This is a play written and directed by Huynh Lap, with People's Artist Tran Ngoc Giau as artistic advisor. The story is quite simple but gives "The Street Singer's Mother" a very humane ending.

The most surprising thing is still the very flexible acting of Minh Nhi, Viet Huong, Huynh Lap, making the audience excited to wait to see the story, although everyone can guess the ending, the son almost being unfilial when stopping his mother from pursuing her passion for the stage, returned to join hands with the youth to build a luxurious stage for his mother to escape the life of a busker.

In fact, 5 years ago, this play was performed on a small stage in a coffee shop with only 70 seats per show. And when it was invested in and brought to Truong Hung Minh stage, Huynh Lap did not disappoint the audience.

Currently, the play is performed on a stage with a capacity of 400 seats, and every show is packed with viewers.

Especially Viet Huong played both the role of a martial artist, danced under the guidance of artist Bach Long, and sang the theme song with a folk melody.
