Two Deputy Secretaries of Khanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee have submitted resignation applications.

Chairman of Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee Tran Quoc Nam and Chairman of Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Khanh Hoa Province Pham Van Hau submitted resignation requests based on personal wishes.

On the afternoon of September 8th, in an exchange with a reporter from SGGP newspaper, a leader of the Khanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee's Organization Department stated that Mr. Tran Quoc Nam, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, and Head of the Khanh Hoa Provincial Delegation to the National Assembly, and Mr. Pham Van Hau, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Khanh Hoa Province, had submitted resignation letters due to personal reasons.

Mr. Tran Quoc Nam was born on December 27, 1971, in Duc Hoa commune, Mo Duc district, Quang Ngai province (formerly). He is a Forestry Engineer, holds a Master's degree in Agriculture, a Doctorate in Forestry, and has advanced political theory qualifications.

Prior to assuming the positions of Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, and Head of the National Assembly Delegation of Khanh Hoa Province from July 2025, Mr. Tran Quoc Nam previously held positions such as Chairman of the People's Committee of Ninh Son District, Ninh Thuan Province (formerly); Chief of the Office of the Provincial People's Committee and then Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee of Ninh Thuan Province (formerly); Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Organization Department of Ninh Thuan Province (formerly); and Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, and Head of the National Assembly Delegation of Ninh Thuan Province (formerly).

Currently, there are four Vice Chairmen of the People's Committee of Khanh Hoa province: Mr. Tran Hoa Nam, Mr. Trinh Minh Hoang, Mr. Nguyen Long Bien, and Mr. Le Huyen.

It is understood that Mr. Tran Quoc Nam is currently on leave, and Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Long Bien has been authorized to perform the duties of the Chairman of the Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee as prescribed.

Mr. Pham Van Hau was born on October 15, 1974, in Dong Hai Ward, Phan Rang-Thap Cham City, Ninh Thuan Province (formerly). He holds a Master's degree in Development Economics, a Bachelor's degree in Architecture, and advanced political theory qualifications.

Prior to assuming the position of Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Khanh Hoa province from July 2025, Mr. Pham Van Hau previously held positions such as Deputy Director and then Director of the Department of Construction of Ninh Thuan province (formerly); Secretary of the Ninh Phuoc District Party Committee, Ninh Thuan province (formerly); Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Ninh Thuan province (formerly); and Standing Deputy Secretary of the Ninh Thuan Provincial Party Committee (formerly).
