At Thang Long Imperial Citadel ( Hanoi ), the Rock concert - Heart of Vietnam - took place to commemorate the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day on September 2nd.

The Rock Concert - Heart of Vietnam brought together renowned bands such as: Buc Tuong, Ngu Cung, Chillies, The Flob, Blue Whales, along with guest artists: Duong Tran Nghia, Thai Thuy Linh, Pham Anh Khoa, Thuy Anh… creating a large-scale rock music festival that ignited the aspirations of youth, national pride, and love for the homeland through each melody.
One of the most impressive performances of the evening was the appearance of the veteran rock band Bức Tường along with the powerful vocals of Phạm Anh Khoa.
The band opened with a mix of "Dat Viet - Hoa Mat Troi" and "Con Duong Khong Ten ," immediately captivating the audience with the power and unique style of rock music .

Next, Bức Tường performed "Men Say "—a song closely associated with the late leader Trần Lập—and also marked the appearance of guest singer Dương Trần Nghĩa. Together with Phạm Anh Khoa, they delivered an emotional performance with hits such as " Tháng 10," "Bông hồng thủy tinh," "Mắt đen," and "Đất nước trọn niềm vui ," creating a complete musical moment that made the audience erupt with excitement with every beat of the guitar, drums, and resounding vocals.
Besides their energetic performance, Bức Tường also interacted with the audience and surprised them by giving away 10 t-shirts printed with the national flag, much to the delight of the fans.
In a moment of climax, all the artists joined the Bức Tường band in singing the song "The Road to Glory ," causing the entire auditorium to erupt in national pride.
The music resonated powerfully, the rhythmic drumming, guitar riffs, and enthusiastic singing of the audience blending together to create a vibrant spirit of unity, leaving an unforgettable impression on everyone.
Also at the program, Thai Thuy Linh and the Thanh Am Xanh folk band performed the song "Len Dang" (Onward). The combination of guitar, rock drums, and the sounds of traditional instruments created a vibrant atmosphere, evoking the heroic spirit of revolutionary history.

Next, she performed two songs: "Wake Up and Go" and "Sing the Marching Song Forever ," the opening tracks of the album "Soldiers" - one of the first revolutionary rock albums in Vietnam.
On stage, Thai Thuy Linh emotionally shared about her 18-year journey of nurturing the idea and spending 3 years developing the concept before releasing the album in 2010. She emphasized that, at the time of its release, the album caused controversy for incorporating solemn revolutionary songs into a powerful rock style. However, over time, revolutionary rock music has been embraced by audiences, breathing new life into revolutionary songs that had already resonated deeply with people.
The Flob took to the stage and opened with the song "Bài ca đất phương Nam" (Song of the Southern Land) , marking their first performance on a large stage. Immediately afterwards, The Flob continued with "Khát vọng tuổi trẻ" (Aspiration of Youth) , instantly electrifying the entire space with its vibrant melody, youthful spirit, and free-spirited energy.
The Chillies took to the stage and gave their all with two songs, "Homeland of Vietnam" and "Sun Avenue. " The vibrant melodies, modern arrangements, and the band's captivating vocals maintained the explosive energy of the night, filling the stage with excitement and emotion.
Not only that, the band didn't hesitate to give the audience a perfect 100/100 score, as a testament to the energy and enthusiasm that the audience's passionate spirit brought to Chillies.

Immediately following Chillies' explosive performance, Pham Anh Khoa and Duong Thuy Anh appeared on stage to perform the song "My People's Song." Duong Thuy Anh opened with a two-stringed fiddle, perfectly blending with the vibrant rock rhythm, creating a musical atmosphere that was both modern and deeply rooted in Vietnamese culture. The audience cheered and sang along from the very first seconds.
The program also included a touching interaction with veterans. The atmosphere on stage became warm and intimate when veteran Que Hoa performed the song "March of Day and Night ." This was an impromptu performance, delivered from her heart, with a voice full of emotion, conveying the courageous and heroic spirit of the soldiers of the past.

As soon as Ngu Cung stepped onto the stage, the band immediately shouted: "Who are fans of revolutionary rock music? Raise your hand!" As one of the most anticipated bands of the night, Ngu Cung performed a series of songs: March of Day and Night, Continuing the Story of Peace , Spring Melody, White Snow - Red Azaleas, Red Leaves , and Flying Over the East Sea.
In particular, the performance of "Cô đôi thượng ngàn " (The Goddess of the Upper Mountains) was not in the script, but due to the enthusiastic requests from the audience, Ngũ Cung obliged, delivering a surprising and emotional moment. The stage once again erupted as the audience joined in with passionate cheers, creating a memorable musical moment of the concert night.
