On the evening of September 7th, the "Rock Concert - Heart of Vietnam" took place at the Thang Long Imperial Citadel historical site in Hanoi , bringing a vibrant and passionate atmosphere with revolutionary songs given a new, powerful and free-spirited look of rock music.
The organizers hope to send the message: "Patriotism is not just a memory of the past, but is burning brightly in the hearts of today's youth."
The music festival features top Vietnamese bands such as Buc Tuong, Ngu Cung, Chillies, The Flob, Blue Whales, along with guest singers Pham Anh Khoa, Pham Thu Ha, Duong Tran Nghia… The program is hosted by MC Le Anh and singer Thai Thuy Linh.
Notably, for the first time, the Thanh Am Xanh folk music band collaborated with a rock band. This fusion not only created a unique and powerful sound but also affirmed the spirit that Vietnamese folk music can resonate and blend in any stage setting, in any era, even against a backdrop of free-spirited rock music.

According to Mr. Nguyen Trung Dung, General Director of Netmedia and General Director of the program, this is a fresh, youthful, and energetic artistic space, a bridge for history to touch the hearts of young people through music .
“Rock is a powerful, free-spirited genre of music, associated with the spirit of freedom and aspiration. When revolutionary songs are infused with the spirit of rock, they become a new voice, relatable and highly appealing to the younger generation,” said Mr. Nguyen Trung Dung.
Opening the program, singer Thai Thuy Linh and the Thanh Am Xanh band heated up the atmosphere with the song "Onward." Immediately afterwards, Thai Thuy Linh brought a fresh spirit to revolutionary songs such as "Wake Up and Go," and "Sing the Marching Song Forever."
The Flob group conveyed their love for their homeland with "Song of the Southern Land" and "Aspiration of Youth." The Chillies group presented two songs, "Homeland of Vietnam" and "Avenue of the Sun."
The band Ngu Cung captivated the audience with their performances of "March of Day and Night," "Continuing the Story of Peace ," "Spring Melody," "White Snow - Red Azalea," "Red Leaves," "Flying Over the East Sea," and "Co Doi Thuong Ngan."
Singer Duong Tran Nghia and the band Buc Tuong set the audience ablaze with a set featuring all the rock fan favorites: "Dat Viet - Hoa Mat Troi," "Con Duong Khong Ten," "Men Say," "Thang 10," "Bong Hong Thuy Tinh - Mat Den," "Nhung Chuyen Di Dai," and "Dat Nuoc Tron Niem Vui."
Concluding the program, all the artists joined together to sing the song "The Road to Glory," affirming that "Rock Concert - Heart of Vietnam" is a highlight in the series of national artistic activities celebrating National Day on September 2nd.
