Three gold and silver trading locations in Hanoi were suddenly inspected by the Market Management Force on the afternoon of April 4, including: Phuc Thanh Hanoi One Member Co., Ltd., No. 276 Ngoc Lam, Long Bien, Hanoi; Bao Tin Lan Vy Gold Co., Ltd., No. 84A Tran Duy Hung, Trung Hoa, Cau Giay, Hanoi; Chien Minh Gold and Silver Co., Ltd., No. 119 Cau Giay, Cau Giay, Hanoi.
03 gold trading stores in Hanoi City were inspected by the Market Management Department on the afternoon of April 4, 2024
At the time of inspection, the stores were open for business as usual. During the initial inspection, the authorities recorded that each store displayed and sold thousands of gold, silver, and stone jewelry products. Some of the metal jewelry products were necklaces, bracelets, rings, and earrings with the names of some famous brands such as Chanel, Hermes, LV, etc.

The owners of the establishments are presenting documents proving business conditions and invoices for the authorities to compare with the goods sold at the stores. Currently, the working groups of the Market Management Department are continuing to work to prove the legality of the goods sold at the 03 establishments. The working program of the working groups is expected to last from 2-3 days.

Present at the scene, Mr. Nguyen Duc Le, Deputy Director of the Market Management Department, shared that in recent days, the Market Management force has continuously inspected many gold trading locations in a number of provinces and cities such as Quang Ninh, An Giang , Dong Thap, Hanoi City... The inspection aims to implement the direction in Official Dispatch No. 23/CD-TTg dated March 20, 2024 of the Prime Minister on strengthening measures to manage the gold market.
During the inspection, the Market Management Force initially identified a number of violations related to product labels, price listings, violations of business conditions, signs of infringement of industrial property rights, violations in trading goods on e-commerce platforms, etc.
“The inspection of gold metal products will continue to be strengthened by the Market Management force from now until the end of 2024 nationwide, in order to contribute to stabilizing the gold market. In particular, in the coming time, the General Department of Market Management will coordinate with functional forces to strengthen quality management, contributing to stabilizing the gold market,” Mr. Nguyen Duc Le emphasized.
