The number of dead fish (of the Song May Lake Aquaculture Team under the Dong Nai Province Military Command) in the past several days has reached nearly 200 tons. The fish died suddenly, without being treated, and floated white in the lake.
The cause may be due to prolonged heat, low lake water level causing fish to suffocate and lack oxygen.

Previously, on the afternoon of April 29, Trang Bom District Police coordinated with the Bien Hoa - Thong Nhat - Vinh Cuu - Trang Bom Irrigation Works Management Station (under Dong Nai Irrigation Works Exploitation Company Limited) and the Song May Lake Aquaculture Team to survey and record the actual situation of dead fish here.

Song May Lake is about 300 hectares wide, an irrigation lake serving the irrigation needs of households in Vinh Cuu and Trang Bom districts. Recently, the lake has released water to irrigate about 800 hectares of people's land./.
