Dong Nai has 3 types of agricultural and forestry products with a trade surplus of nearly 1.5 billion USD.

According to the Dong Nai Statistics Office, in the first 5 months of this year, the province had 3 types of agricultural and forestry products with high growth rates: coffee, wood products and pepper. The above agricultural and forestry products had a total export turnover of more than 1.55 billion USD, of which the trade surplus was nearly 1.5 billion USD.

Specifically, coffee exports reached nearly 808 million USD, up more than 73% over the same period last year; wood product exports were about 713 million USD, up over 24% and pepper exports increased nearly 1.5 times. Dong Nai 's coffee, pepper and wood products have been exported to more than 70 countries and territories and are highly appreciated for their quality. However, only wood products are mostly exported directly, while pepper and coffee are mainly exported raw through intermediary countries. Therefore, the value of pepper and coffee is not high.

According to economic experts, if coffee and pepper products can build brands and be deeply processed, export turnover can increase 2-4 times.
