Dong Nai focuses on developing infrastructure to create industrial land for lease

According to the report of Dong Nai Industrial Parks Management Board, up to now, industrial parks in the province have attracted investment from 45 countries and territories with nearly 2,200 projects, including more than 1,500 foreign-invested projects with a total investment of more than 31.4 billion USD.

In 2025 alone (as of March 24), the total newly granted and adjusted capital in industrial parks is more than 908 million USD of foreign investment and more than 1.7 trillion VND of domestic investment. Based on the results of attracting investment in the first quarter and the construction of infrastructure in new industrial parks, the Dong Nai Industrial Parks Management Board plans to attract about 1.2 billion USD of foreign investment in 2025, of which 450 million USD will be newly granted and 750 million USD will be increased in investment capital.

The current difficulty in attracting investment is that the land fund reserved for investors who need to lease land is not much left. Therefore, the Dong Nai Industrial Park Management Board recommends that the province direct relevant agencies to speed up the compensation process to hand over land to industrial park infrastructure companies to invest in infrastructure.

For new industrial parks, investors actively and proactively coordinate with departments, branches and sectors to implement contents according to the direction of the Provincial People's Committee, promptly complete infrastructure and supplement industrial land for lease.

After listening to the opinions of departments, branches and recommendations of the Dong Nai Industrial Park Management Board, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Duong Minh Dung affirmed that Dong Nai's goal is to develop a locality with strong industry, advanced technology and green production. Attracting investment into industrial parks as well as improving the business environment is a very important task to achieve the growth target according to the plan.

Therefore, relevant departments and branches, based on their responsibilities, coordinate with the Dong Nai Industrial Parks Management Board to facilitate site clearance, develop industrial infrastructure, attract secondary investment projects; and at the same time develop new industrial parks in an ecological and sustainable direction.

The provincial leaders also requested relevant units to ensure maximum stability in the supply of electricity, gas, and raw materials for production needs of enterprises; including actively supporting enterprises to invest in using clean energy and rooftop solar power, serving the goal of reducing emissions of the locality as well as the whole country.
