Dong Nai receives support for people to overcome consequences of natural disasters

(DN) - On October 16, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Dong Nai province received contributions to support people in overcoming the consequences of natural disasters from many individuals and groups through direct or bank transfer.

Specifically, on behalf of the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Dong Nai province, Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Dong Nai province Nguyen Tan Phu received direct support at the unit's headquarters at No. 38, Vo Thi Sau Street, Tran Bien Ward, Dong Nai Province, an amount of more than 110 million VND, donated by the Trade Union of Grand Gain Footwear Production Company Limited (Dong Xoai Ward).

At the same time, many individuals, agencies and units contributed by transferring money to account number 3761.01021516.91999 at the State Treasury of Region XVII and account number: 1210006868 at Vietcombank Dong Nai branch, in which officials, civil servants, public employees and employees of the Department of Construction of Dong Nai province donated over 100 million VND; the Department of Ethnic Minorities and Religions of Dong Nai province donated 35 million VND; officials and employees of Song May Industrial Park Development Joint Stock Company donated 16 million VND...

Up to now, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Dong Nai province has received over 26.4 billion VND, contributed by more than 5,400 individuals and groups to support people in overcoming the consequences of natural disasters.

* On the same day, the Red Cross Society of Dong Nai province received contributions from 4 individuals and groups, including some goods such as instant noodles and old clothes. Up to now, the Red Cross Society of Dong Nai province has received over 1.6 billion VND and goods worth 300 million VND, contributed directly by 265 organizations and individuals at the headquarters No. 03, Hoang Minh Chau, Tran Bien ward, Dong Nai province and transferred to the account: Red Cross Society of Dong Nai province, account number 20251234, Vietinbank Binh Phuoc branch.
