Dong Thap issues decision approving the position of Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee

DTO - On the morning of November 6, the People's Committee of Dong Thap province held a ceremony to present the Prime Minister's Decision approving the position of Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee for the 2021-2026 term to Mr. Tran Tri Quang. Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council Phan Van Thang; Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Pham Thien Nghia and leaders of provincial departments, branches and sectors attended the ceremony.

Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council Phan Van Thang (left cover) and Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Pham Thien Nghia (right cover) presented the Prime Minister 's Decision approving the position of Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee to Mr. Tran Tri Quang.

Previously, on November 4, Deputy Prime Minister Tran Luu Quang signed Decision No. 1297/QD-TTg approving the election results for the position of Vice Chairman of Dong Thap Provincial People's Committee for the 2021-2026 term for Mr. Tran Tri Quang - Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Secretary of Cao Lanh City Party Committee.

At the decision-giving ceremony, Mr. Tran Tri Quang expressed his sincere thanks for the trust of the Provincial People's Council in electing him to the position of Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; at the same time, he pledged to make every effort, determined to join hands and hearts with the Party Executive Committee and members of the Provincial People's Committee to successfully complete the assigned tasks.

Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Pham Thien Nghia believes that with the achievements and capacity of Mr. Tran Tri Quang, the new Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee will achieve the tasks and targets set by the Provincial Party Committee and the Provincial People's Committee in 2023.

Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Pham Thien Nghia requested departments, branches and localities to create favorable conditions for comrade Tran Tri Quang to perform well the assigned work.

On October 17, at the 6th extraordinary session, the People's Council of Dong Thap province, term X, elected additional positions of Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee and members of the Dong Thap Provincial People's Committee for the 2021-2026 term. Here, the delegates of the Provincial People's Council elected Mr. Tran Tri Quang - Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Secretary of the Cao Lanh City Party Committee to hold the position of Vice Chairman of the Dong Thap Provincial People's Committee for the 2021-2026 term.
