This component project 1 was approved by the Prime Minister in Decision No. 856/QD-TTg dated April 28, 2025, under the public-private partnership (PPP) method, with a total route length of about 124.13km (the section through Dak R'lap district, Dak Nong province is about 23.10km long, the section through Binh Phuoc province is about 101.03km long). The project has a scale of 06 lanes, a design speed of 120km/h according to TCVN 5729:2012 standard.

During the investment phase, the project is invested with a scale of 04 complete expressway lanes, roadbed width of 24.75m, the section through Dong Xoai city is 25.5m wide (expanding the median strip to arrange the lighting system). The total investment of the project is 19,965 billion VND, of which state capital is 6,842 billion VND from the source of increased central budget revenue in 2022, capital mobilized by investors is about 12,134 billion VND (excluding loan interest of 989 billion VND). The project implementation period is from 2025 to 2027.

Giving gifts to households directly affected by the project

The project's objective is to build a key expressway connecting the Central Highlands with the Southeast region, connecting Binh Phuoc, Dak Nong provinces and other localities in the region with Ho Chi Minh City, creating new space and development momentum for the Central Highlands and the Southeast region; exploiting land use potential, developing tourism, processing industry, mineral exploitation industry...; gradually restructuring the economy of the Central Highlands, the Southeast region and the country according to the Resolution of the 13th National Congress of the Party and the resolutions of the Politburo.

Provincial Party Secretary Ton Thi Ngoc Hanh announced the completion of the Program to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses in the province.

Within the framework of the ceremony, Binh Phuoc Provincial Party Committee announced the completion of the Program to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses in the province. This is the result of a humane activity. Implementing the Prime Minister's launch of the Program to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses nationwide, Binh Phuoc province has urgently reviewed, compiled statistics on the current situation, resolutely implemented and reached the finish line before April 30, 2025, 6 months earlier than the Prime Minister's regulations and 2 months earlier than the province's plan.

The program has completed the construction and repair of 765/765 houses, with a total cost of 53 billion 790 million VND, of which 625 houses are for poor and near-poor households with a cost of 45 billion 240 million VND, 140 houses for meritorious people with a cost of 08 billion 550 million VND. In the difficult conditions, to have only 765 houses left to be built and repaired under this program, many years ago, Binh Phuoc made efforts to build thousands of houses for poor households, near-poor households, policy families, and meritorious people from state resources and social contributions. This success is an impressive continuation of the results achieved during the province's continuous efforts in social security work, strongly promoting the completion of the goal of having no poor households in Binh Phuoc province by 2025.

Speaking at the ceremony, Provincial Party Secretary Ton Thi Ngoc Hanh emphasized:   In 2025, this movement was completed. However, with the motto "no one is left behind", Binh Phuoc determined that this is not just a temporary emulation movement, but a sustainable process to ensure that all people have a stable and safe place to live, which is the foundation for settling down, contributing to sustainable poverty reduction and socio-economic development. Therefore, in the coming time, the Provincial Party Committee will continue to lead and direct the review of households in difficult circumstances, households that have benefited from housing support policies many years ago but have degraded, seriously damaged, and need to be repaired in order to have appropriate support and repair plans./.
