The parking lot project that once "invaded" the tomb of King Tu Duc's wife will be re-implemented.

VHO - After more than 8 years of the incident of leveling the tomb of Lady Tai Nhan of the Le family - wife of King Tu Duc, the project of the Tourist Parking Lot for visiting Tu Duc Tomb and Dong Khanh Tomb is currently being carried out by Hue City in the process of leasing land to re-implement.

At the site of land clearance in 2017, the tomb of Lady Le - wife of King Tu Duc was leveled.

On August 14, information from the People's Committee of Hue City, the locality has just decided to change the land use purpose and lease it to Value Chain Trading and Service Company Limited to implement the project of the Tourist Parking Lot for visiting Tu Duc Tomb and Dong Khanh Tomb.

Specifically, according to Decision No. 2553 /QD-UBND of Hue City People's Committee, the land use purpose of more than 14,141 m2 in Thuy Xuan ward will be changed and leased to Value Chain Company in its entirety.

The land lease term is calculated from the date the Chairman of the People's Committee of Hue City signs the land lease decision until April 13, 2046. The form of land lease by the State is annual payment, the land lease method is according to the provisions of Article 124 of the 2024 Land Law.

The purpose of this land lease is to implement the project of Parking lot for visiting Tu Duc tomb and Dong Khanh tomb.

The decision of Hue city also clearly states: Regarding the land area used as a common entrance to the mausoleum of Lady Tai Nhan, Value Chain Trading and Service Company Limited is not allowed to construct any works to ensure common use.

The project area for parking lots for visitors to Tu Duc and Dong Khanh tombs has been "inactive" for many years.

Previously, in June 2017, Van Hoa Newspaper published articles reflecting that the tomb of Lady Tai Nhan of the Le family (wife of King Tu Duc) was leveled by the construction unit clearing the land to implement the project of the parking lot for visiting Tu Duc and Dong Khanh tombs.

Afterwards, the Nguyen Phuoc Clan Board of Trustees submitted a petition to the People's Committee of Thua Thien Hue Province (now Hue City) and all levels to request the tomb to be rebuilt in its old location.

In 2023, the Nguyen Phuc Clan Council of Vietnam and the Value Chain Trading and Service Company Limited rebuilt the tomb of the Le family's talented lady. The tomb was built according to the blueprint designed by the talented lady of the Nguyen Dynasty under Tu Duc.
