Dong Dang (Lang Son) - Tra Linh (Cao Bang) expressway project has disbursed more than 40% of the plan.

In 2024, the Dong Dang (Lang Son) - Tra Linh ( Cao Bang ) Expressway Construction Investment Project was allocated a capital plan of 1,934 billion 193 million VND by the province. Of which, the capital plan in 2023 extended the disbursement and payment period in 2024 by more than 562.3 billion VND; the capital plan in 2024 is 1,371.8 billion VND.

Up to now, the Project has disbursed 773.2 billion VND, reaching more than 40% of the plan. The site has been handed over for 301.59 ha/572.77 ha, reaching 52.65% (equivalent to 57.81 km/93.35 km of the entire route). Of which, in Cao Bang province, the site has been handed over for 41.26 km/41.35 km, reaching 99.78% of the route length; in Lang Son province, the site has been handed over for 16.55 km/52 km, reaching 31.83% of the route length.

Regarding the progress of implementation, the Project Enterprise is mobilizing 284 machines and equipment; 768 engineers and workers to deploy 23 road construction teams; 2 tunnel construction teams, including: the Northern tunnel - tunnel No. 1 through Chi Minh commune, Trang Dinh district (Lang Son) with a left branch 186 m long, the right branch 198 m long is drilling the first drills to open the tunnel door; the Western tunnel - tunnel No. 2 in Ban Neng hamlet, Thuy Hung commune (Thach An) the right branch is 192 m long, the left branch is 114 m long.

During the implementation of the Project, there were still some difficulties and problems related to the lack of traffic land quota for the project; problems with procedures for changing the purpose of forest use for the rerouted sections of about 12 km. The districts: Thach An, Quang Hoa (Cao Bang), Van Lang, Trang Dinh (Lang Son) have not completed the resettlement project, have not approved the compensation plan and estimate, thus affecting the progress of site clearance; the technical design work is still slow compared to the progress of site clearance. The progress of preparing technical design documents by the Project Enterprise; the progress of approving the plan and compensation estimate to pay compensation to the people is still slow, affecting many other related procedures...

The project enterprise simultaneously mobilized over 1,200 locomotives and equipment, 3,000 workers to organize 80 construction teams with 3 shifts/day to meet the project's progress, including items: road tunnels, bridges, intersections, emergency stops and many important items, striving to complete the entire route by the end of 2025.
