ĐNO - On November 26, the Vietnam - UK Institute for Research and Training (University of Danang ) organized the final round of the World Children's Day Youth - On! Hackathon 2023 creative programming competition with the theme of mental health and the message "open up and connect".

Youth - On! 2023 is a programming competition for young people aged 14-19 in the city, within the framework of the Healthy City for Youth Phase 2 project, which is part of the initiative "Child-Friendly City - Da Nang City 2023-2026".
This year, the competition attracted 17 teams with 70 contestants from middle schools, high schools, colleges and universities in the city. After the semi-finals held on November 19, 9 out of 17 teams made it to the finals.
In addition, the competition was accompanied by 15 instructors who are leading experts in the field of technology and PhDs and Masters from universities and colleges who presented and debated solutions to improve mental health issues for children and adolescents.
In the final result, Supernovas team with the project My Care - Using artificial intelligence to identify negative emotions and behaviors won First Prize.
According to student Le Minh Loc, a member of the Supernovas group, the product of this project uses a facial recognition system to recognize 7 emotional nuances on the human face to convert into evaluation scores. The group further develops emotional recognition through voice through 9 tones such as: calm, neutral, happy, sad... to calculate scores to help detect negative psychology and depression through the emotional evaluation system.
