Today's gasoline prices in the international market
According to the oil price update today, October 8, 2025 on the Oilprice page at 4:30 a.m. (Vietnam time), Brent oil price reached 65.30 USD/barrel, down slightly by 0.15 USD (equivalent to 0.23%), while WTI oil was at 61.58 USD/barrel, down 0.11 USD (0.18%).

Expert Giovanni Staunovo (UBS) said that oil prices are stabilizing as investors wait to see whether the amount of oil stored at sea will translate into increased inventories in OECD countries, while data from India showed a strong increase in oil demand in September.
OPEC+ had previously announced plans to increase production by 137,000 barrels per day from November, which was lower than expected. According to ING, this decision reflects caution as the supply surplus is forecast to last into the fourth quarter of 2025 and into next year.
Domestic gasoline prices are stable
In Vietnam, gasoline prices today, October 8, remain unchanged following the adjustment period from 3:00 p.m. on October 2.
Specifically, E5 RON92 gasoline increased slightly by 6 VND/liter, to 19,624 VND/liter; RON95 III gasoline increased by 44 VND/liter, reaching 20,209 VND/liter.
In the petroleum fuel group, diesel increased by 380 VND/liter, reaching 19,038 VND/liter; kerosene increased by 377 VND/liter, reaching 19,005 VND/liter; and fuel oil increased by 161 VND/kg, reaching 15,370 VND/kg.
During this price adjustment period, the Ministry of Industry and Trade – Ministry of Finance did not allocate funds to or utilize the Fuel Price Stabilization Fund, helping domestic prices more closely reflect fluctuations in the global market. This decision aims to maintain the stability of supply and control retail prices amidst the unpredictable volatility of the international oil market.
