World oil prices rose slightly due to the impact of reports on Ukrainian UAV activities in Russia, and US warnings related to Venezuelan airspace. In addition, oil prices increased because OPEC+ agreed to keep the group's crude oil production unchanged until the end of December 2026.

“The market is feeling uneasy about the possibility of a reduction in Russian crude oil supplies. Traders are closely watching the developments on the Russia-Ukraine deal,” said John Kilduff, partner at Again Capital LLC.

Oil prices rose to a two-week high on expectations the US Federal Reserve will cut interest rates next week, supporting economic growth and energy demand, along with geopolitical uncertainties that threaten to disrupt supplies from Russia and Venezuela, Reuters reported.

The move put both benchmarks on track for their highest closes since November 18, with Brent up about 1% and WTI up 3% for the week, marking a second straight weekly gain.

Investors are closely watching the delayed US inflation report. The core personal consumption expenditures (PCE) price index rose 2.8% in September compared to analysts' forecast of 2.9%. According to CME Group's FedWatch tool, the market is pricing in an 87% chance of a 25 basis point cut at the Fed's December 9-10 meeting.
