The project to build a bridge across Dao River connecting Song Hao Street to Vu Huu Loi Street, Nam Dinh City is being accelerated by the contractor, with the construction volume so far completed at about 65% of the contract value.
The project to build a bridge across the Dao River connecting Song Hao Street to Vu Huu Loi Street with a length of about 1.6km, of which the bridge length is about 0.8km and the approach roads on both sides are about 0.8km. The bridge across the Dao River consists of 16 spans, including 13 approach spans and 3 continuous girder spans, with a cross-section of 20.5m. The main bridge uses a continuous composite cable girder system made of prestressed reinforced concrete. The cable-stayed system consists of two reinforced concrete towers with a height of 31.5m from the bridge deck, each side is arranged with 9 pairs of cable-stayed cable bundles. The shape of the tower is designed to simulate a lotus bud for aesthetic appearance. This is a key project of the province with special significance, creating a driving force for the province's socio -economic development. When completed, it will strengthen the connection between Nam Dinh city and the coastal economic zone. Besides, the project is also a highlight of the urban landscape, contributing significantly to the construction and development of Nam Dinh city into a civilized and modern urban area.
