After the group stage, FIFA has found the 16 best teams to enter the round of 16 of the FIFA Club World Cup. According to the calculations of the supercomputer Opta (based on many factors such as form, strength, squad value, adaptability...), PSG is considered the number 1 candidate for the championship with 20.6%.

Although in the group stage, coach Luis Enrique's team suffered a 0-1 defeat against Botafogo, many people only considered that defeat an accident. Otherwise, PSG still proved their strength by winning against Atletico Madrid and Seattle Sounders.

Bayern Munich are next with 11.3% and Chelsea with 10.4%. Surprisingly, Real Madrid is only ranked as the 6th candidate with 9.7%. Los Blancos have not really impressed in the group stage as they have not had much time to work with coach Xabi Alonso. In the round of 16, Real Madrid will face a formidable opponent, Juventus.
The remaining teams in the top nine are all European, including Dortmund, Benfica and Juventus. The highest-ranked non-European team, Palmeiras, has just a 0.9% chance of winning the title. Teams like Flamengo, Al Hilal, Botafogo, Inter Miami, Monterrey and Fluminense all have less than a 0.5% chance of winning the title.
The Club World Cup Round of 16 will take place from June 28 to July 2. At 11pm today, the first match of this round between Palmeiras and Botafogo will take place.
