In the group of 10 markets with the most searches for Vietnam tourism last year, there were: the US, Australia, Japan, India, Korea, Singapore, UK, Germany, Malaysia, Thailand. As for the most searched destinations on the S-shaped strip of land, in addition to the two major centers of Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi, there are also Da Nang, Phu Quoc, Hoi An, Nha Trang, Da Lat, Hue, Phan Thiet, and Vung Tau.

Looking back at the past year, Binh Thuan tourism has shown a strong transformation when welcoming about 8.35 million visitors, an increase of approximately 46% compared to the previous year (international visitors had 274,300 visitors, an increase of 3.13 times). Regarding the implementation of the target of revenue from tourism activities, it is also estimated to reach 22,300 billion VND, an increase of 63% compared to 2022. It can be said that this result was achieved thanks to local tourism taking advantage of the opportunity when successfully hosting the National Tourism Year 2023 "Binh Thuan - Green Convergence", exploiting the attraction of the Dau Giay - Phan Thiet and Vinh Hao - Phan Thiet expressways put into use... And "opening" the new year is the occasion of New Year 2024, with only a short holiday, the whole province welcomed nearly 110,000 visitors, achieving revenue of about 230 billion VND.

According to experts, recently international visitors have paid much attention to Vietnam tourism because of the attractiveness of nature, culture, cuisine, etc. While domestic visitors prefer prominent destinations with "blue sea - white sand - golden sunshine", convenient travel time, experiencing new products and services and enjoying a variety of fresh seafood, etc. Thus, with the current tourism trend, Binh Thuan is forecasted to remain an attractive destination in the coming time thanks to its many potentials, advantages and favorable factors that can meet the needs of all types of visitors.
