With a 4-day holiday to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day September 2, many destinations and tourism and travel businesses in the province are ready to serve tourists during the last holiday of 2025.

Famous destinations in the province such as Cat Tien National Park (Nam Cat Tien commune), Bu Gia Map National Park (Bu Gia Map commune), Dong Nai Nature and Culture Reserve (Tri An commune), Suoi Mo Park (Tan Phu commune), Son Tien Tourist Area (Long Hung ward), Buu Long Tourist Area (Tran Bien ward)... have prepared programs to welcome guests during the holiday.

Diversified tourism products and services

To serve the needs of tourists during the last holiday of the 2025 summer tourist season, a number of destinations in the province have offered quite diverse tours and experiences to attract visitors.

Bu Gia Map National Park is one of the famous destinations with unique nature exploration and experience activities.

Mr. Do Truong Giang, Deputy Director of the Center for Propaganda, Tourism and Rescue Conservation of Bu Gia Map National Park, said: On the occasion of September 2, Bu Gia Map National Park has many tours to explore nature. Visiting Bu Gia Map National Park, visitors also have the opportunity to experience the cultural and culinary activities of local ethnic people. At the same time, explore unique relics, landmarks, and heritage trees such as: The historical monument stele house at the end of the oil pipeline; journey on the route through the core area of Bu Gia Map National Park, explore unique forest habitats, especially the heritage tree population, unique and impressive waterfalls; camping, experiencing survival skills such as: pitching tents, catching fish, cooking bamboo rice by beautiful streams and waterfalls...

With the ability to attract thousands of tourists every day during peak tourist seasons, Buu Long Tourist Area is also ready for the September 2nd holiday.

Mr. Nguyen Danh Thinh, Acting Director of Buu Long Investment and Development Company Limited (the unit managing and operating Buu Long Tourist Area, Tran Bien Ward) said: During the September 2 holiday, Buu Long Tourist Area will implement a number of programs to serve tourists such as: Folk Food Festival taking place from August 31 to September 2 with more than 20 booths, 100 attractive dishes such as folk cakes, grilled dishes, vermicelli, hot pot... with prices starting from only 7 thousand VND. In particular, on the opening day, chefs of Dong Nai Chefs Association will give away 400 free cups of grapefruit tea to visitors, and at the same time perform vegetable carving art works from more than 50 professional chefs and artisans. In the following days, events will take place at the rural market space such as: making an 8m long cashew sausage with a giant pot of porridge; promote spring rolls on a map of Vietnam. These dishes will then be served to tourists for free.

In addition to the culinary program, Buu Long Tourist Area also has acoustic art performances, traditional music, etc. to serve tourists. Notably, on September 2, Buu Long Tourist Area will broadcast live the National Day Parade on a large LED screen to serve tourists visiting Buu Long Tourist Area for free.

According to Mr. Thinh, during the September 2nd holiday, Buu Long Tourist Area will not increase ticket prices (full entertainment package, visiting 40 game categories for 150,000 VND/adult and 60,000 VND/child). In addition, there are also discounts on hotel room rates for guests staying during the holidays.

Dong Nai currently has 49 active travel agencies, including 16 international travel agencies and 6 tourism representative offices. The province currently has 224 tourist accommodation establishments with a total of more than 5,200 rooms.

According to some travel agencies, on the occasion of the September 2nd holiday this year, a number of domestic and international tours attracted a large number of tourists. Among them were some tours to the northern provinces on the occasion of the great holiday.

To ensure safety for tourism activities during the National Day holiday on September 2, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism has increased on-site inspections and issued written reminders to accommodation establishments and tourism businesses in the province to strengthen inspections and carefully review preparations to ensure security and safety for tourists during their visits and experiences of tourism products in accordance with regulations.
