'Fairy forest' in Khanh Hoa causes a stir online, visitors spend 2 hours finding their way in

According to research, the forest is located on K10 road, Cam Lam commune, about 40km from Nha Trang center (about 1 hour by motorbike). The forest is located near many famous coastal resorts, but previously few tourists paid attention to it.

Mr. Nguyen Duc Hieu, a photographer in Nha Trang, said he was accidentally brought here by a friend in early August.

After just a few minutes of walking, he felt as if he were lost in a deep forest, separated from the city by the fresh, quiet air, occasionally catching sight of squirrels swinging from branch to branch in search of food. The sunlight filtered through the dense canopy of ancient trees, shining on the green grass and moss, creating a scene both poetic and mysterious.

“This scene reminds me of the moss forest in Ta Xua ( Lao Cai ) and the Binh Chau – Phuoc Buu nature reserve (HCMC). But the difference is that the forest in Cam Lam does not require walking or climbing far,” Mr. Hieu shared.

Pham Tuan Tu, a young man working in tourism , also discovered the forest in Cam Lam a few days ago. “The forest does not have a specific address, it took me nearly 2 hours to find it. Many people around have never heard of it. You should find your way in the area opposite Duyen Ha Resort.

The road was a bit difficult to travel, with many potholes and rocks, but when I arrived, I was truly amazed. It is no exaggeration to say that this place is as beautiful as in a fairy tale, very worth the experience,” Tu said.

The ideal time to visit and take photos of the forest is when it is sunny, around 8-9am or 2-3pm. At that time, the sunlight makes the forest brighter and more sparkling.

The forest is located near the main road so it is difficult to get lost, but visitors should go in groups, with a guide or a local. "This is a spontaneous check-in point, there is no parking service so visitors have to take care of themselves," said Mr. Hieu.
