Kate Festival is one of the important traditional festivals of the Cham Brahman community, usually taking place in the 7th month of the Cham calendar (around September-October of the solar calendar). The festival is held with many unique cultural and spiritual activities at temples, villages and families.
The solemn rituals include: the procession of costumes up to the tower, the opening of the tower, bathing the statue and dressing the god, and the grand ceremony. The Kate Festival is meant to commemorate the gods and ancestors and pray for favorable weather, bountiful crops, and the growth of people and all things.

This is also an opportunity to demonstrate the spirit of community cohesion, contributing to preserving and promoting the traditional cultural and artistic values of the Cham people.
The Kate Festival 2025 will take place over three days, from October 20 to 22, 2025, with a series of solemn traditional rituals.
On October 20, people of Huu Duc, Tan Duc, and Thanh Duc villages (Phuoc Huu commune) held a ceremony to bring Po Inư Nưgar costumes from the Raglai people in Phuoc Ha commune to the temple in Huu Duc village.

On October 22, the festival atmosphere will continue to spread, held in villages, clans and within Cham Brahmin families throughout Khanh Hoa province.
