The State Bank of Vietnam, Quang Nam branch, has improved the effectiveness and efficiency of management in implementing credit policies of credit institutions for agriculture, farmers and rural areas.
At the same time, promote propaganda, create conditions for people to access loans, create more job opportunities, production and business, contribute to the goal of sustainable poverty reduction, new rural construction, and ensure social security.
Commercial banks have accelerated capital disbursement to contribute to Quang Nam's new rural construction.
By the end of 2024, outstanding loans for building new rural communes in the area will reach VND 32,000 billion (accounting for 24.36% of total outstanding loans in the province, up 14.29% over the beginning of the year).
Credit is mainly invested in lending programs for production and business households (VND 11,093 billion, accounting for 42.31% of total outstanding loans for new rural areas), lending to poor households (VND 702 billion, accounting for 2.68%); lending for housing construction (VND 1,442 billion, accounting for 5.5%), lending for clean water and rural environmental sanitation (VND 864 billion, accounting for 3.3%) and other lending programs (VND 12,116 billion, accounting for 46.21%).
