Chinese drone maker DJI completed a drone delivery in April, carrying three oxygen bottles and 1.5 kilograms of other supplies from Everest Base Camp to Camp 1 at the summit.
The FlyCart 30 drone was used to transport trash from Camp 1 located at an altitude of over 6,000 meters back to Base Camp at 5,364 meters above sea level.
DJI says it has conducted rigorous tests on its FlyCart 30 drone to ensure it can handle harsh mission conditions such as wind resistance, low temperatures, and payload capacity.
This option would ease the burden on the people who deliver goods to the top of the mountain for expeditions.
