The performances are part of the project “Bringing Tuong stage to schools” to introduce traditional Tuong art to students at primary schools, secondary schools, high schools and universities in Da Nang City. Thereby contributing to preserving and promoting traditional stage art for the younger generations, especially school-age children.

The program began with an introduction to the history and characteristics of Tuong art and Nguyen Hien Dinh Tuong Theater presented by Meritorious Artist Tran Ngoc Tuan and People's Artist Phan Van Quang. Through the exchange between the artists, students understood the birth and development of Tuong art, especially Quang Nam Tuong , as well as the unique ideological and artistic values of this art form.

This is useful information, helping students have a complete view to supplement the lessons on stage arts in the 2018 generaleducation program, Literature subject.

The excerpt "Thi Kinh - Thi Mau" has the unique color of Quang Nam Tuong. By breathing life into the characters, the artists brought many unforgettable artistic emotions to the teachers and students of Phan Chau Trinh High School.

In particular, the art of makeup with various types of Tuong masks is a highlight, impressing students. Nguyen Hien Dinh Tuong Theater introduced students to the creation and typical dance movements of old characters, flatterers, generals, fictional characters, etc.

With initial successes, "Bringing Tuong stage into schools" is a meaningful activity, contributing to educating students about love for their homeland and traditional values of the nation.
