"For me, I am very happy to be included in the Vietnam national team. However, I have no information about the transfer yet, I am still waiting for the official announcement. Currently, I am still training with the Vietnam U22 team as usual," Pham Ly Duc shared before the afternoon practice session on May 31.
Pham Ly Duc is one of two players added to the Vietnam national team list alongside Dang Van Toi. This addition was decided by coach Kim Sang-sik when Bui Hoang Viet Anh and Nguyen Thanh Binh were injured and could not participate. However, after being named in the Vietnam national team list, the player from HAGL still maintained his spirit of training with the U22 team as usual because there was no announcement of a transfer.
The player born in 2003 also confirmed that his physical condition is completely stable after nearly two months of injury treatment. "My current physical condition is very good, I can function normally and have no physical problems. No matter which team I practice with or what level I play at, when I go on the field I always try to play my best. Wearing the national team jersey is a great honor, so I am always aware that I have to focus as much as possible to perform well," Ly Duc added.
Also related to the personnel of the Vietnam team, today the players of CAHN and Binh Duong will gather after the make-up match of round 23 of V.League 2024/25. However, in the afternoon practice session on May 31, this group of players was not present at the practice field. According to the investigation, the players' flight was delayed, along with the tight match schedule, so the coaching staff let the players practice lightly at the hotel.
