70 Miss Grand International contestants representing various countries were in Hue to explore Vietnamese culture. After half a month in Vietnam, the beauties were always impressed with the full, cozy meals of the Vietnamese people.

Besides, after half a month of accompanying the contest in the S-shaped country, many contestants shared that they have gradually gotten used to using chopsticks while eating.
Many candidates said that eating with chopsticks was quite difficult at first, but now they have become much more proficient.
Miss Grand Peru said while having dinner: "I think my chopstick holding is not very good but I can still pick up food. I'm quite happy that I finally did it. Among today's dishes, I really like spring rolls and this braised fish dish."
Miss Grand Philippines enjoys using chopsticks: "There is a way to prove if you can use chopsticks well, which is to pick up 3 grains of rice with chopsticks. And I think I can do it."
The beauty from Angola said she had never used chopsticks before, but during her time participating in the contest in Vietnam, she enjoyed using these utensils to pick up food every day.
Meanwhile, the beauty from the US shared: "I used to use chopsticks when I was in the US, but not every day. But here, I don't use a fork but chopsticks every day, I also feel like I'm much more professional."
She also enjoyed chatting with the girls at the dining table: "I like fish sauce". Miss Grand Ecuador agreed: "I think I will order fish sauce every time I eat in Vietnam, I love it."
On the dinner table with a variety of dishes such as vegetables with fish sauce, chicken salad, braised mackerel, gourd and pork soup... the beauties enjoy their meals after a day of work. For many girls, although the dishes are a bit "strange", they still leave a strong impression on them.
Most of them like braised fish, spring rolls and vegetable dishes. Among them, there are also beauties who like to eat fish sauce - a dish that is quite picky with most international friends when they come to Vietnam.
Miss Grand Ghana held the fish sauce bowl that was quite empty and shared that this was her favorite dipping sauce: "I really like this dish, it's really delicious, what is it called in Vietnamese?".
Le Hoang Phuong - representative of Vietnam shared: "At first, Phuong thought it would not be easy for the friends to eat the dishes with rice, but today when sitting at the dining table, the friends kept praising me so Phuong felt very happy."
For Isabella Menin - the reigning Miss Grand International, this is her third time coming to Vietnam and it is also a time that brings back many memories as she experiences many aspects of Vietnamese culture, from wearing the traditional Vietnamese dress and ao dai in a series of activities, visiting scenic spots to eating Vietnamese food.
During her experience of a Vietnamese meal, the Brazilian beauty expressed her love for the dish kho quet. Isabella happily said that Vietnamese vegetables are even more special when eaten with the dish kho quet.
Besides, the beauty queen born in 1996 shared: "I used to not like eating fish but this dish (braised fish in clay pot) really conquered me."
Earlier on the first day in Hue, Miss Grand International contestants wore Ao Ba Ba and learned to cook Banh Xeo. In addition, the beauties’ meals also included many Hue culinary specialties such as royal rice, Nem Cong Cha Phuong, mixed fig, Hue cakes, etc.
In addition, when coming to the Central region, beauties from 70 countries and territories also love the experience of wearing Ao Dai, visiting the ancient capital and listening to Hue royal court music. It is known that the Semi-final night will take place on October 22 and the Final on October 25.
