Hanoi Railway Train Increase

Hanoi Railway Transport Joint Stock Company said that in order to meet the increasing demand for train passengers on the Hanoi - Lao Cai route, from tomorrow (March 22), the railway will organize regular daily runs of the SP1/SP10 train pair.

Specifically, from March 22, train SP1 departs from Hanoi station at 9:55 p.m. and arrives at Lao Cai station at 5:15 a.m.; from March 23, train SP10 departs from Lao Cai station at 8:30 a.m. and arrives at Hanoi station at 4:05 p.m.

The ticket price for this pair of trains is only from 120,000-220,000 VND/ticket/trip, while the VIP sleeper ticket for 2-berth compartment on train SP10 is only 370,000 VND/ticket/trip.

Currently, on this route, the railway is regularly operating the SP3/SP4 train pair. The SP3 train departs Lao Cai station at 10:00 p.m. and arrives at Lao Cai station at 5:55 a.m.; the SP4 train departs Lao Cai station at 9:30 p.m. and arrives at Hanoi station at 5:25 a.m.

Train SP3/SP4 double ticket price from 220,000 VND/ticket/trip for 4-berth sleeper cabin, depending on the direction, route and departure date.

Along with train tickets, the railway also provides bus transfer services from Lao Cai station to Sapa and vice versa with pick-up and drop-off points in Sapa within a 2km radius from the Stone Church. The bus ticket price is 55,000 VND/ticket/trip.

In particular, for passenger trains on the Hanoi - Lao Cai route, the railway applies the form of selling combo tickets: buy 4 get 1 free, buy 8 get 2 free. Specifically: When customers buy group tickets of 4 people, the total discount is equivalent to the price of one ticket; when buying 8 people, the discount is equivalent to the price of the two lowest priced tickets.

In addition, the railway still applies ticket discounts for social and policy beneficiaries such as: Vietnamese Heroic Mothers, people with disabilities, war invalids, the elderly, children, students, union members. At the same time, ticket discounts are applied to passengers with customer cards, and return ticket discounts are applied to passengers who buy round-trip tickets...
