'Elon Musk threatens to burn down movie studio to keep Amber Heard's role'

Elon Musk - Amber Heard's ex-lover - is said to have helped the star get a role in "Aquaman 2", even though the director and studio were not happy with her.

On October 10, Variety published a behind-the-scenes article about Aquaman 2, based on several sources and notes from Heard's therapist. Accordingly, Heard and Musk both said that the star was almost fired from Aquaman 2, because director James Wan and the film studio were not satisfied with her attitude.

However, a source said that Heard's ex-boyfriend, Elon Musk, helped her get cast in the project. The source claimed that Musk "sent a letter threatening to burn down Warner Bros." headquarters if Heard was not cast in the sequel. The studio later kept Heard on board.

Musk first met Heard in 2012 while the actress was filming Machete Kills in Los Angeles. The billionaire was hired as an advisor on the film, but they did not speak. In 2013, Heard toured SpaceX and Musk took her for a ride in his Tesla.

In 2016, the two became close at the Met Gala when her marriage to Johnny Depp was on the rocks. A month later, Heard filed for divorce from Depp. When her marriage to the Pirates of the Caribbean actor ended, the star spent more time with the South African billionaire. The two dated from 2017 to February 2018.

In the Variety article, many noisy behind-the-scenes stories were also revealed. In the notes dated December 27, 2021 of Dr. Dawn Hughes, Amber Heard's therapist, the star said that she and co-star Jason Momoa "did not get along". Heard also claimed that Jason Momoa pushed for her to be fired from the project. The document reads: "Jason wanted me fired. Jason was also drunk and arrived late to the set. He dressed like Johnny, even wearing a ring".

The documents first appeared on Reddit, and then gradually created a wave of public opinion when the Aquaman 2 trailer was released in mid-September. Johnny Depp fans paid to make the notes public.

Momoa's representative declined to comment on the incident, while a DC Studios spokesperson said the actor always behaved professionally on the set of Aquaman 2.

Contrary to Amber Heard's claims, a source who was on set in London in 2021 told the Daily Mail that the two got along well while working on the project. "Jason works very hard, has a beer every now and then but doesn't show up drunk. And he doesn't dress like Johnny Depp, it's a bohemian style," the source said.

The documents also show that Heard criticized director James Wan. The actress said Wan yelled at her and prevented her from posting about the work on social media. Wan declined to comment, and a spokesperson for DC Entertainment denied the accusations, saying that the director is known for treating his crew as equals, so this project was no exception.

Amber Heard, 37, is an American actress and model. She starred in the critically acclaimed 2018 film Aquaman, but her return in the sequel sparked controversy after Heard accused her ex-husband Johnny Depp of domestic violence. Aquaman (2018), directed by James Wan, revolves around the hero who becomes the sea king of Atlantis (played by Jason Momoa). The film grossed over a billion dollars at the box office, becoming the highest-grossing film in the DC Extended Universe to date. In September, James Wan denied reducing Amber Heard's role in the film, saying that from the beginning the film focused on brotherhood rather than romance.
