Tran Minh Hoang - Silver Medalist of the International Mathematics Olympiad - IMO 2024 has arrived in Hanoi . He was welcomed with joy by his family and representatives of Ha Tinh Specialized High School.
The 2024 International Mathematical Olympiad - IMO will take place in the UK on July 16 and 17. Tran Minh Hoang is one of six Vietnamese students participating in this exam.

After 2 exams, Tran Minh Hoang scored 23 points, and was 1 of 2 students of the Vietnamese team to win the Silver Medal. The Vietnamese math team won 5 medals including 2 silver, 3 bronze and 1 certificate of merit.
Before winning the IOM 2024 Silver Medal, Tran Minh Hoang had many awards and impressive academic achievements, such as: In grade 8, he won first prize in the provincial math competition for 9th graders and in grade 9, he rose to the top position.
Notably, in 2023, although he was only in grade 10, Tran Minh Hoang excelled in becoming the valedictorian of the National Excellent Student Exam in Math for grade 12. Then, while still in grade 11, Hoang excelled in winning 2nd place in the Selection Exam for the 2024 International Math Olympiad./.
