The temple was inaugurated on May 19, 1972, and in 2010 it was renovated, restored, and expanded to a total area of ​​over 45,000 m² , with a total investment of over 60 billion VND, contributed by the State, local authorities, and people of the province.

Here you'll find structures covering the temple, an exhibition hall, a green park, a ceremonial hall, and an auditorium... Nearly 500 images and artifacts are displayed according to three themes: Uncle Ho with the South, the South with Uncle Ho; the affection of the Party Committee and people of Bac Lieu towards Uncle Ho; and visits by Party, State, Central and local leaders to the Temple of Uncle Ho.
