The temple was inaugurated on May 19, 1972, and in 2010 it was renovated, restored, and expanded to a total area of over 45,000 m² , with a total investment of over 60 billion VND, contributed by the State, local authorities, and people of the province.
Here you'll find structures covering the temple, an exhibition hall, a green park, a ceremonial hall, and an auditorium... Nearly 500 images and artifacts are displayed according to three themes: Uncle Ho with the South, the South with Uncle Ho; the affection of the Party Committee and people of Bac Lieu towards Uncle Ho; and visits by Party, State, Central and local leaders to the Temple of Uncle Ho. Surrounding the bronze statue of Uncle Ho are images of 79 mythical birds, symbolizing the 79 springs Uncle Ho spent on earth...
