Police officers from Bac Lieu ward are inspecting fire safety at polling stations in the area.
In Bac Lieu ward, fire safety at polling stations is a priority. All 30 polling stations in the ward are fully equipped with fire-fighting equipment and are regularly inspected and instructed on its use.
Lieutenant Colonel To Minh Hien, Head of Bac Lieu Ward Police, said that the police force had organized inspections and provided guidance to officers on duty at polling stations to ensure they were proficient in using fire-fighting equipment and ready to handle any situations that might arise.
Increase patrols and clean up the area.
In Ta An Khuong Commune, which has 42 polling stations, the commune police organized 74 patrol shifts with 584 officers and soldiers participating. Through these patrols, the unit detected and handled many violations, dismantled a cockfighting gambling ring involving 9 individuals, and imposed administrative fines totaling 13.5 million VND.
The Ta An Khuong Commune Police deployed patrols, securing the area and ensuring security and order ahead of the election.
In addition, the police force deployed personnel to ensure security and order at all 42 polling stations, contributing to maintaining stability before election day.
In Tan Tien commune, the local police maintain patrol, control, and standby teams at 29 polling stations, ready to handle any arising situations.
Mr. Cao Van Phuoc, residing in Vam Dam hamlet, Tan Tien commune, shared: “Tomorrow is the election day, so people are very excited. Security and order have been maintained consistently over the past period, so people feel very secure going to vote.”
Police officers and local security forces of Tan Tien commune are on duty, ensuring security and order at polling station number 5, located in Vam Dam hamlet.

Alongside the deployment of resources at the grassroots level, the leaders of the Ca Mau Provincial Police also regularly conduct direct inspections and supervise the work of ensuring security and order in localities. Through on-site inspections at many polling stations, including those located in people's homes, the local police force was instructed to continue to thoroughly review security plans, closely monitor the local situation, and prevent any unexpected or passive situations from occurring.
Thanks to the proactive, decisive, and coordinated preparations of the police force from the provincial to the grassroots level, security in Ca Mau province is being maintained. Each polling station has a police presence, and each area has patrol teams working day and night to ensure peace and security, contributing to making election day a true festival for the entire population.
