Eriksen's current contract with MU expires at the end of this season. However, the Danish player has not yet received an extension offer from the Old Trafford team.

Eriksen has played 27 matches in all competitions for MU, scoring 4 goals and providing 4 assists. Although not an irreplaceable pillar, Eriksen has always met the professional requirements when trusted by the coach.

Sharing about his future plans, Eriksen said: “I haven’t received any notice, so I assume the contract will end. I’m ready to look for new opportunities, but I haven’t decided where to go. I’ll see what’s right for me and my family.”

Throughout his career, Eriksen has played for foreign clubs such as Ajax, Tottenham, Inter Milan, Brentford and MU. However, the midfielder born in 1992 still has no intention of returning to his homeland Denmark to play.

“I still want to play abroad for a few more years. Returning to Denmark would mean focusing on my family and finishing my career, but I’m not at that stage yet,” Eriksen added.
