As soon as they regained control of the ball, Ukraine had a great combination to bring the match back to the starting line. The equalizer for the yellow team was Mykola Shaparenko with an accurate close-range shot from Zichenko's cross from the left wing into the penalty area.
Zinchenko (17- yellow) crossed for Shaparenko (19) to score the opening goal.
With the advantage of leading, Ukraine continuously pressed and their efforts were rewarded in the 80th minute. From a long pass, Roman Yaremchuk - who had just been brought on from the bench - handled the ball delicately with one touch and pushed the ball past the Slovakian goalkeeper to help Ukraine complete the comeback.

After that, Slovakia rose up but could not change the result and accepted a 1-2 defeat.
With this result, Ukraine and Slovakia both have 3 points to rank 2nd and 3rd respectively in Group E.
The top spot belongs to Romania - the team will meet Belgium in the remaining match of the round on June 23.
According to the tournament rules, if two teams have the same number of points, the priority index is the head-to-head, so Ukraine is temporarily ranked above Slovakia.
