Portugal and UK fireworks teams go all out for a sustainable planet

(NLDO) - On the evening of June 21, the 4th competition night of the Da Nang International Fireworks Festival took place on the banks of the Han River with the participation of two teams, Portugal and the United Kingdom.

The 4th competition night of the Da Nang International Fireworks Festival 2025 (DIFF) had the theme of "Sustainable Development". Two teams from Portugal and the United Kingdom brought brilliant performances, conveying the message of green living through the art of fireworks combined with unique music .

Team Macedos Pirotecnia (Portugal) opened impressively with the rock song "Rock You Like A Hurricane" with crazy fireworks effects.

The passionate streaks of light exploded across the Da Nang sky, opening the eye-catching performance of the Portuguese team.

After a lively warm-up, the team suddenly changed the tone with the song "Love Vietnam" and a series of classical music combining Lusitana Paixão, Mozart... creating a calm, emotional symphony of light.

With skillful technique and creative storytelling, the Portuguese team told the story of a hopeful green future.

Portugal's entry carries a quiet but profound message about love of nature and a green future.

Typical firework effects such as comets, light waterfalls, volcanic cannons… take turns painting the sky a vivid world of light.

Not to be outdone, the Pyrotex Fireworx team (UK) brought a performance called "Emotional Waves".

Using more than 8,000 specially designed fireworks, the team led the audience through a series of multi-layered emotions - from deep love songs, James Bond action movie soundtracks, to Vietnamese songs such as "Forget Me" and "Noi Nay Co Anh".

The audience not only watched, but also immersed themselves in every rhythm and light, ending with a series of immortal international musical pieces on a spectacular fireworks background.

The dazzling fireworks were cleverly synchronized by the UK team to music ranging from James Bond to Vietnamese hits.

The layered fireworks effects and constantly changing colors helped the UK's performance become a mesmerizing symphony of light on the Han River.

The British team's performance was a complete emotional journey with more than 8,000 individually designed fireworks.

Fireworks danced across the night sky, in sync with familiar melodies.

UK performance turns into emotional instrumental music

The UK team's performance was a medley of styles, from action, romance to cinema.

Besides fireworks, the competition night was also an art festival with performances by singers Dong Hung, To My, Lam Bao Ngoc and professional dance troupes.

Sky AR virtual reality technology continues to create a strong effect with thousands of interactions from the audience, showing innovation in festival organization in Da Nang.

The 5th competition night between Korea and Italy will take place on June 28, broadcast live on DRT at 8:10 p.m. The final is scheduled to take place on July 12, broadcast on VTV1.
