Sharing with reporters on the evening of June 21, Ms. Luong Thi Thom, Youth Assistant of Ba Diem High School, said that more than 30 Hoa Phuong Do soldiers of the school secretly carried out a special "mission", which even surprised the principal.
Folding paper cranes, stars of hope
"For 4 consecutive days, the 10th and 11th graders all worked overtime, staying at school until almost 7pm before returning home. Everyone took the opportunity to fold paper cranes and lucky stars to give to the 12th graders, preparing for the important exam," said Ms. Thom.

Red Flamboyant Soldiers "work overtime", take advantage of the opportunity to fold paper cranes and lucky stars
During the gratitude ceremony on the morning of June 21, more than 600 meaningful gifts were given to the candidates. Many candidates were moved when they saw the paper cranes, stars, and carefully wrapped candies.
Mr. Vo Thanh Danh, Principal of Ba Diem High School, smiled and said: "These past few days, I saw students gathering at school but none of them told me, probably because they were afraid of "revealing" the secret. It was not until this morning that they "revealed themselves". Not only the parents and 12th grade students, but I myself was also very surprised. The gift is small but has great spiritual value, helping the students feel more comfortable mentally."
Funds for preparing the gifts were drawn from donations and scrap metal sales. Soldiers collected scrap metal from people’s homes, then collected and sold it. The money was used to buy materials to make the gifts and to organize many other community activities.
"This further enhances the meaning of the activity, as these gifts are not only wishes but also the result of the students' hard work and independence," said Ms. Thom.

"Super cool" Logan for students
Ms. Anh Mai, Principal of Nguyen Huu Cau High School (red shirt) joined the festival with students.
According to Ms. Mai, the red bean sweet soup is not elaborate but contains the care, expectation and trust of teachers. Red bean sweet soup not only brings luck but also has many nutrients, very suitable for students. In addition, the Red Bean Sweet Soup Festival is also an opportunity for 12th grade students to "de-stress" and feel more comfortable when entering the important exam.
Parent Huynh Thi Thuong, whose daughter studies at Nguyen Huu Cau High School, proudly shared: "I was surfing social media and accidentally saw images of teachers sharing cups of sweet soup with students. I felt very warm and happy because my child has a close learning environment. Thanks to that, my daughter is also more confident."
