During the gratitude ceremony on the morning of June 21, more than 600 meaningful gifts were given to the candidates. Many candidates were moved when they saw the paper cranes, stars, and carefully wrapped candies.

Mr. Vo Thanh Danh, Principal of Ba Diem High School, smiled and said: "These past few days, I saw students gathering at school but none of them told me, probably because they were afraid of "revealing" the secret. It was not until this morning that they "revealed themselves". Not only the parents and 12th grade students, but I myself was also very surprised. The gift is small but has great spiritual value, helping the students feel more comfortable mentally."

Funds for preparing the gifts were drawn from donations and scrap metal sales. Soldiers collected scrap metal from people’s homes, then collected and sold it. The money was used to buy materials to make the gifts and to organize many other community activities.

"This further enhances the meaning of the activity, as these gifts are not only wishes but also the result of the students' hard work and independence," said Ms. Thom.

Also in Hoc Mon district, teachers at Nguyen Huu Cau High School cooked more than 600 cups of red bean sweet soup for 12th grade students. A special party was held right in the school yard.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Anh Mai, Principal of Nguyen Huu Cau High School, said that the Red Bean Sweet Soup Festival is a traditional activity of the school, which has been held continuously for over 7 years.
