On May 10, 2024, Ba Ria - Vung Tau province, Phan Trong Binh People's Armed Forces Hero Social Work Fund held a press conference to introduce the event "Vietnam Sea and Island Festival - Vung Tau City 2024".
Taking place from May 23-26, 2024, at Quang Trung Street Square, Vung Tau City, the Vietnam Sea and Island Festival - Vung Tau City 2024 aims to introduce, honor, and preserve the values of coastal cultural heritage, stimulate domestic and international tourism, and promote local economic development. At the same time, it promotes love and pride in the homeland, practically cares for the material and spiritual lives of fishermen, soldiers, and specialized forces on duty to protect the sacred sovereignty of the sea and islands, for the peace of the Fatherland; encourages, motivates, visits, gives gifts, and gives savings books to officers, soldiers, and their families working on remote islands.
Vietnam Sea and Island Festival - Vung Tau City 2024 is designed into a series of diverse events, suitable for the interests of the majority of the public such as: Cuisine, sports, concerts, mobile propaganda, parades, music and dance, culture and arts...
The focus of the festival is the art performance night "Aspirational Journey" (on Saturday evening, May 25, 2024, at the Big Stage of Quang Trung Square - Front Beach - Vung Tau City).
In addition, visitors also have the opportunity to visit the food fair, booths displaying and promoting regional specialties, with the participation of hundreds of booths arranged and displaying famous specialties of the sea and delta; Yoga Festival; Mobile propaganda program for Vietnam's seas and islands.
