The Vietnamese women's team completed its mission of defending the SEA Games 32 gold medal after defeating Myanmar 2-0 in the final match.

The two stars who scored to bring home the fourth consecutive championship for the girls in red were Huynh Nhu and Thanh Nha.
After that impressive performance, two players of the Vietnamese women's team received praise from FIFA.
“She is a sharp, skillful and intelligent striker. This girl possesses impressive finishing ability and is the number one striker in the history of Vietnamese women's football.
She has contributed to raising the team's level and becoming an example for her teammates thanks to her endless enthusiasm," FIFA wrote about captain Huynh Nhu on its homepage.
As for Thanh Nha, she is highly appreciated by FIFA for her speed and breakthrough ability.
“This girl is one of the most outstanding young talents of Vietnamese women's football. The 21-year-old striker possesses amazing speed and breakthrough ability.
Thanh Nha can play both as a striker and a winger and always knows how to exploit the opponent's weaknesses," FIFA's homepage continued.
Besides highly appreciating the talents of Huynh Nhu and Thanh Nha, FIFA also did not forget to mention the coaching talent of coach Mai Duc Chung.
“Coach Mai Duc Chung is a flexible and effective strategist. He has rotated well the two systems of 4 defenders and 3 central defenders to counter the opponent's attacks.
At the 2023 World Cup, the Vietnamese women's team is not highly rated in Group D. Therefore, do not be surprised if coach Mai Duc Chung only uses one striker, Huynh Nhu," FIFA's homepage concluded.
