On the afternoon of January 12, at the Bac Giang Provincial Sports Stadium, Foxconn Internet Industrial (Fii) Vietnam, a member of Hong Hai Science and Technology Group (Foxconn), held the Fii 2024 Solidarity Congress with the theme "Unity - Firmly moving forward".
Attending the event were comrades: Nguyen Viet Oanh - Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Phan The Tuan - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; leaders of the Provincial Labor Federation, the Provincial Industrial Parks Management Board. On Fii's side, there was Mr. Brand Cheng - Chairman of the Board of Directors, concurrently CEO of Fii, along with leaders of Fii Vietnam and thousands of outstanding workers of Fii Bac Giang.
Fii (Foxconn Industrial Internet) is a subsidiary of Foxconn Science and Technology Group, one of the world's leading technology corporations. Fii owns a global network of factories in the United States, Mexico, Hungary, China, India and Vietnam; playing an important role in the global digital economy .
Fii Vietnam was established in 2007 with factories in Bac Giang and Bac Ninh. After 17 years of presence in Vietnam, Fii has made important strides in contributing to the development of Vietnam's economy in general and creating many jobs, contributing to stabilizing and developing Bac Giang's economy in particular. Last October, Fii's Fuhong Factory in Quang Chau Industrial Park was honored to be recognized by the World Economic Forum (WEF) as the first "Lighthouse Smart Factory" in Vietnam.
The Fii Solidarity Congress is held annually. This is an opportunity for businesses to evaluate the results achieved during the year; set production and business goals for the coming year and honor and reward individuals with many achievements in labor and business development.
Speaking here, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Viet Oanh acknowledged and highly appreciated Fii's important contributions to the socio-economic development of Bac Giang province in 17 years of operation in the locality.
The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee emphasized that Bac Giang province always attaches importance to and pays attention to the production, business activities and development of investors and enterprises. At the same time, it commits to continue to accompany and create the most favorable conditions within the legal framework for Fii projects to operate effectively, develop sustainably, and have long-term ties with the province.
The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested Fii to continue to pay attention to building corporate culture; caring for and improving the material and spiritual life of employees. At the same time, fulfill its obligations to the State budget, actively participate in social security work, and accompany the development of Bac Giang province.
On this occasion, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee wishes all leaders, employees, workers of the group and their families a happy new year.
At the event, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Viet Oanh presented flowers to congratulate the enterprise. At the same time, together with the leaders of Bac Giang province and the leaders of Hong Hai Science and Technology Group , he performed the "Kick off" ceremony - Starting the year 2025 with great success. Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Phan The Tuan and the leaders of the Group presented flowers and commemorative medals to 36 officers and employees. Outstanding people who have been attached and dedicated to Fii Vietnam for 15 years or more.

At the Fii 2024 Solidarity Congress, 57 officers and employees of Fii Vietnam who have worked for 15 years at the enterprise were awarded Commemorative Medals and gifts (1 tael of gold/individual); 350 outstanding workers were honored and rewarded with a total value of 700 million VND.
Along with honoring workers, within the framework of the Fii 2024 Solidarity Congress, Fii Vietnam also organized a lucky draw program and special art performances./.
