According to the shareholder qualification check results announced by FLC before the meeting, the number of shareholders attending was only 94 people.
According to FLC, the number of shares of this shareholder attending accounted for 227 million shares, equivalent to only 32% of the total number of shares with voting rights. Therefore, FLC was not eligible to hold an extraordinary shareholders' meeting because it did not have 50% of the shares with voting rights.
FLC said that the 2nd Extraordinary General Meeting of Shareholders in 2024 will be sent to shareholders by FLC in the near future.
As expected, the 1st/2024 General Meeting of Shareholders of FLC will approve the shareholders' dismissal of Mr. Doan Huu Doan and Mr. Le Thai Sam from the Board of Directors according to the resignation applications of these two members.
In addition, FLC also asked to vote to dismiss Mr. Nguyen Tri Thong from the Board of Supervisors according to his resignation letter.
Previously, in February 2023, the extraordinary meeting of FLC's General Meeting of Shareholders could not take place because the number of shareholders holding the number of shares participating in the vote was only 32.15%. The second meeting just one month later was also unsuccessful because the number of voting shares was only 44%.
