Ford Mustang Mach-E is about to come to Vietnam, running 10 laps around the world, battery still "strong"?
A user in the US has demonstrated the impressive battery life of the Ford Mustang Mach-E when it ran for more than 400,000 km while still maintaining a range of up to 467 km/charge.

Ford Vietnam has confirmed the official launch date of the Mustang Mach-E electric vehicle on August 15. The specific specifications of the Vietnamese version of the Mustang Mach-E have not yet been announced. However, in the US market, if users choose the version using the extended battery pack, the maximum operating range of the vehicle after a single charge can be up to 515 km. A notable testament to the durability of the Ford Mustang Mach-E comes from an American user named David Blenkle - a technology service driver in Colorado. Over the course of 3 years, Blenkle used the Mustang Mach-E intensively, an average of 12 hours a day, and the total distance traveled exceeded 403,000 km, equivalent to going around the Earth 10 times.
Most impressively, the battery still allowed the car to operate for up to 467 km on a single charge, meaning it retained more than 90% of its original capacity, despite being far beyond the standard test. According to Ford, the Mustang Mach-E's battery is designed to operate for at least 10 years, and maintain 90% of its performance after 100,000 miles, which is less than half of what Blenkle achieved. Sharing about the cost and maintenance process, Blenkle said that maintaining the Mach-E is much easier and more economical than a car using an internal combustion engine. Over the course of more than 400,000 km, he mainly rotated the tires, did multi-point inspections, and changed the cabin air filter - simple items that do not take much time or cost.
In fact, thanks to the regenerative braking system - a technology typical of electric vehicles - his Mach-E has not needed to replace its brakes after 3 years of continuous use. This is a big advantage of electric vehicles in the context of increasingly high maintenance costs for gasoline vehicles. To maintain optimal battery life, Blenkle applies a few simple but effective principles. He charges his car overnight at home most of the time to take advantage of low electricity rates, only using public fast chargers for unusually long trips. He also limited the charge to 90% instead of charging to 100%, a practice recommended by many manufacturers to reduce battery wear during daily use. A consistent and consistent charging schedule helped the Mach-E maintain high performance and avoid any major issues over the long term.
Blenkle shared: "The most mistaken view I see is complaints about battery life and operating range. At times like that, I show them my watch." Now, let's wait and see what the upcoming Ford Mustang Mach-E electric car will be like in Vietnam? Video : All-electric Ford Mustang Mach-E is about to launch in Vietnam.
