On April 25, FPT Digital Retail Joint Stock Company (HoSE: FRT) successfully held its 2025 Annual General Meeting of Shareholders in Ho Chi Minh City, approving many key strategic directions for the new fiscal year, affirming its vision for sustainable development and pioneering position in the field of technology retail and healthcare.
The congress unanimously approved the revenue plan of VND48,100 billion and pre-tax profit of VND900 billion. Of which, revenue from FPT Shop chain is expected to grow by 6% and revenue from FPT Long Chau chain is expected to increase by about 28% - continuing to be the main growth driver of FRT.
This plan was developed in the context of the Vietnamese economy forecasting a positive recovery at the beginning of the year. However, with fluctuations from the geopolitical situation and global macro factors as well as recent trade tensions, FPT Retail approaches 2025 with a cautious, flexible mindset, striving for effective and sustainable growth.
In 2025, FPT Long Chau aims to open 430 new stores including pharmacies and vaccination centers. Long Chau Pharmacy continues to maintain its No. 1 position in the market share of prescription drugs and new generation drugs, rare drugs, and difficult drugs. In addition, Long Chau Vaccination will continuously update a full range of new vaccines that can prevent dangerous diseases to better serve the health protection needs of the people.
In the technology retail segment, FPT Shop will continue to restructure its product portfolio, expand investment in new products and services to improve business efficiency. Typically, the company will gradually introduce electronic products into FPT Shop stores, prioritizing smart, energy-saving and environmentally friendly products, transforming its model and operations to meet the diverse needs of customers, especially young households.
At the same time, the company continues to develop FPT virtual mobile network (MVNO) to complete the digital ecosystem. In the coming time, FPT Shop will continuously research and develop new services, apply modern technology to improve customer experience and promote sustainable growth.
At FPT Long Chau, a series of technology solutions have been and are being deployed such as: 24/7 health consulting service to help enhance timely treatment and early detection of complications; personalize services and products provided to customers; participate in healthcare connectivity in the national healthcare digital transformation program; apply Blockchain technology to encrypt health information and customer shopping transactions. The drastic application of technology at FPT Long Chau not only brings customers a different shopping experience but also aims to provide convenient and fast medical solutions on the basis of ensuring information security and data confidentiality. This is also a strategic step to affirm and enhance Long Chau's position in the pharmaceutical industry in Vietnam.
With FPT Shop, AI technology will support personalizing customer experiences through smart product suggestions, automated customer care and improved after-sales services, contributing to promoting the digitalization and modernization of Vietnam's retail industry.
The meeting approved the plan to pay stock dividends at a rate of 25% (4:1), from the undistributed after-tax profits of the parent company. The additional shares issued to pay stock dividends will be listed immediately upon implementation.
