Nearly 1,000 job opportunities in social sciences and humanities

On May 24, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities (Vietnam National University, Ho Chi Minh City) organized a recruitment fair within the framework of the 2023 Social Sciences and Humanities Student and Employer Week (USSH Career Season 2023).

The program attracted more than 30 participating businesses with nearly 40 booths, nearly 1,000 job opportunities introduced at the festival. Some typical businesses include: Vuihoc.vn, Acecook, FPT Shop, Hoa Sen Group, Vietnam Airlines , Mobiphone, ACB, Highlands Coffee...

Participating in the festival, students experience job interview activities, and receive guidance on writing job applications.

Not only is it a bridge between students and employers, the recruitment fair creates opportunities for young people who intend to start a business to have a clearer orientation on their career path during a period of economic fluctuations.

Currently, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities (Vietnam National University, Ho Chi Minh City) offers 34 undergraduate majors, 33 master’s majors and 18 doctoral majors. Every year, the number of undergraduate graduates is about 3,000 and more than 300 masters, 50 doctors in the fields of social sciences, humanities and languages. Many of these new bachelors and masters enter the labor market and meet the needs of recruiting units.
