Nearly 1,700 athletes compete to run around the "Fruit Garden Route"

(BDO) On the morning of May 21, at Cau Ngang area, Hung Dinh ward, Thuan An city, Binh Duong , the 2023 Thuan An City Open Cross-Country Race took place.

The athletes were excited before the Organizing Committee gave the starting command.

The athletes started with high determination.

Stalls to fuel athletes participating in cross-country running.

With the theme “Orchard Road”, the tournament attracted the enthusiastic participation of nearly 1,700 athletes from agencies, units, schools, and localities in and outside the city. The athletes were divided into 2 age groups: From 13 to 39 years old and over 39 years old competing in 2 distances of 5 km and 10 km. The race route was around the orchards of Hung Dinh ward and An Thanh ward.

Athletes actively participate in running on beautiful roads around fruit orchards.

Supporting the athletes, there are many stalls giving out free water and fruit. Each athlete who reaches the finish line will receive a souvenir medal from the Organizing Committee of the 2023 “Lai Thieu - Ripe Fruit Season” festival.

Mr. Nguyen Tan Dung, Director of the Center for Culture, Information and Sports of Thuan An City, awarded medals and shared joy with the athletes who reached the finish line.

The tournament is organized by the Center for Culture, Information and Sports of Thuan An City, aiming to continue the campaign "All people exercise following the example of great Uncle Ho" in the period of 2021 - 2030. By organizing the tournament, it also contributes to promoting beautiful images of the famous local fruit garden.
