Nearly 10,000 Quang Ngai candidates complete the non-specialized high school entrance exam

According to the Quang Ngai Departmentof Education and Training, this exam has mobilized nearly 1,500 officials and teachers to participate in the exam supervision work, arranged at 26 exam councils. The organization work was carefully prepared, ensuring adequate facilities, and at the same time implementing many plans to ensure security and order inside and outside the exam area. In addition, volunteers are also on duty to support candidates and parents when necessary.

This year, candidates taking the entrance exam to grade 10 of non-specialized public high schools will take three subjects: Literature, Math and English. Candidates taking the entrance exam to the provincial high school for ethnic minorities will only take two subjects: Literature and Math.

According to many candidates, this year's exam was assessed as being within their ability and not too difficult. Nguyen Thi My Yen - a candidate taking the exam at the Examination Council of Tran Quoc Tuan High School ( Quang Ngai City) shared: The content of the exam subjects is spread evenly throughout the curriculum. The Literature exam in particular is highly classified but not too difficult and does not puzzle students. If you have a solid grasp of the knowledge and know how to apply the skills you have learned, you will do well on the exam. The new point of this year's exam is to choose materials outside of textbooks, which helps candidates develop their thinking ability, improve their ability to apply knowledge and test-taking skills."

Candidate Le Dam Thanh Thu - a student at Tinh Dong Secondary School also said: "Although the literature essay section used materials outside of the 9th grade textbook, it was not surprising. During the exam preparation process, we were guided by teachers on many different types of questions and genres, so I felt quite confident and did well in all three subjects."

In general, the exam took place seriously, safely and in accordance with regulations. Agencies, units and localities closely coordinated, promoted a sense of responsibility, and fully prepared the necessary conditions for the exam to take place successfully.

On the afternoon of June 6, candidates who registered for the entrance exam to Le Khiet High School for the Gifted continued to take the exam in their desired specialized subjects. Candidates who are taking the English exam will take the speaking test on the morning of June 7.
