The Prime Minister has just approved the Project Component 1 of the North-South Expressway, West, Gia Nghia - Chon Thanh section, under the PPP form, with a total investment of VND 19,965 billion. The route is more than 124 km long, connecting Dak Nong province with Binh Phuoc , divided into 4-6 lanes depending on the phase, with a design speed of 120 km/h.

The project is expected to be implemented from 2025 to 2027, in which the investor (Vingroup - Techcombank proposed) mobilizes more than 12,000 billion VND, the rest from the central budget. The People's Committee of Binh Phuoc province is assigned to organize the selection of qualified investors according to regulations. When completed, the expressway will connect the Central Highlands with the Southeast and Ho Chi Minh City, creating momentum for regional development.

The project may start construction at the end of 2025 and be completed in 2029, divided into 2 component projects. When Binh Dinh - Gia Lai provinces merge according to Resolution 60-NQ/TW, the expressway will be located entirely in one area, contributing to promoting regional connectivity and economic development in the Central Highlands - South Central Coast.

The People's Committee of Quang Tri province has approved the investment in the My Thuy 110kV transformer station project and the Dien Sanh - My Thuy 110kV transmission line, invested by ASIA Alloy Steel Joint Stock Company, with a total capital of VND 193.58 billion. The project is about 7.5 km long, most of which is located in Hanoi, connecting Thanh Tri and Gia Lam districts with Van Giang district (Hung Yen), and is a key project of the Ring Road 3.5.

The bridge is permanently designed with reinforced concrete, using a mixed girder-cable structure (extradosed) for the longest main span of 218 m - an advanced structure, combining the stiffness of the girder with the bearing capacity of the cable.

The Hue coastal road project is over 21 km long, phase 1 invested 7.78 km with a total capital of 2,400 billion VND. Prime Minister urges progress of Lao Cai - Hanoi - Hai Phong railway project

GELEXIMCO consortium wins bid for Nam Dinh - Thai Binh expressway with capital of 19,784 billion VND

The People's Committee of Thai Binh province has just approved the results of selecting investors to implement the Ninh Binh - Hai Phong Expressway Project, the section through Nam Dinh and Thai Binh under the PPP form, BOT contract. The consortium led by GELEXIMCO Group won the bid with a total investment of more than 19,784 billion VND. The project is 60.9 km long, including 4 lanes, designed speed of 120 km/h, will start construction in 2025, basically completed in 2027 and put into operation in 2028. The maximum toll collection period for capital recovery is 25 years and 4 months.

The route will build 23 bridges, including a bridge over the Red River that is more than 1.1 km long, 4 interchanges and an ITS system. The project will use about 538 hectares of land, connecting the provinces south of the Red River with Lach Huyen international seaport and the national highway system, contributing to reducing logistics costs and expanding the economic development space of the Northern coastal region and North Central region.

Quang Nam to renovate and upgrade National Highway 14D in November 2025

The project to renovate and upgrade National Highway 14D, with a total investment of more than VND 4,518 billion, will start construction in November 2025. The route is about 74.4 km long, upgraded to the standards of a grade III mountainous road, using mainly the central budget (VND 4,513 billion) and VND 5 billion from the Quang Nam provincial budget.

The project is allocated capital each year, of which 505 billion VND is for 2025 alone. Kon Tum adds 15 projects to the investment attraction list for the period 2021 - 2025

Kon Tum Provincial People's Committee has just approved the addition of 15 projects to the Investment Attraction List for the 2021-2025 period, including 8 energy projects and 7 urban development projects. Approval of investment policy for the 220 kV Than Uyen - 500 kV Lao Cai transmission line project

Deputy Prime Minister Bui Thanh Son has just signed Decision No. 857/QD-TTg approving the investment policy and accepting the investor for the 220 kV Than Uyen - 500 kV Lao Cai transmission line project. The project is invested by the National Power Transmission Corporation (EVNNPT), will start construction in the second quarter of 2025 and be completed this year. The new line is about 73.54 km long, passing through Lai Chau and Lao Cai provinces, aiming to relieve hydropower capacity in the region, strengthen regional connectivity and reduce power loss.

The project has a total investment of 30% of EVNNPT's own capital, the rest is commercial loans. The draft proposes to transfer airport infrastructure assets from the Ministry of Construction to the Kien Giang Provincial People's Committee, decentralizing the province to decide on investment policies according to regulations. The expansion is expected to increase the airport's capacity to 18-20 million passengers/year and 50,000 tons of cargo/year, with two 3,500m runways, meeting 4E airport standards. Due to the urgent preparation time (only 29 months left), the Ministry of Finance proposed applying a special mechanism to shorten procedures and ensure progress. A domestic investor has proposed to invest under the PPP method and committed to completing the project within 16-18 months if it is given clean land.

8 energy projects in Kon Tum's investment attraction portfolio

Kon Tum Provincial People's Committee has just added 8 energy projects to the investment attraction list for the 2021-2025 period, including 7 hydropower projects and 1 wind power project. Notably, the Sac Ly - Kon Tum wind power project (phase 1) with a capacity of 104 MW, spread across Ngoc Hoi, Dak To and Sa Thay districts. The hydropower projects have a capacity of 4.5 MW to 20 MW, distributed in Kon Plong, Ngoc Hoi, Kon Ray, Tu Mo Rong and Sa Thay districts, with a total estimated investment capital of thousands of billions of VND.

The province assigned the Center for Investment, Trade and Tourism Promotion to take charge of calling for, promoting and advertising investment; at the same time, requested the Department of Finance to coordinate in reviewing and advising on adjusting the investment portfolio periodically, in accordance with local realities. This is an important step to take advantage of the local renewable energy and hydropower potential, promoting sustainable economic development in Kon Tum.

Kon Tum Chairman requests investors to thoroughly resolve difficulties and problems

Chairman of Kon Tum Provincial People's Committee Le Ngoc Tuan has just requested Kon Tum City People's Committee and the Provincial Management Board of Investment and Construction Projects for Transport, Civil and Industrial Works to urgently resolve difficulties and problems of public investment projects, especially in the third quarter of 2025. The projects mentioned include: the main road in the West of Kon Tum City, Truong Chinh Street and the urban renovation project of Dak Ro Wa commune.

The Truong Chinh road project with a total investment of 457 billion VND has been under construction for many years without completion, so the Chairman of the Kon Tum Provincial People's Committee requested the investor to complete resolving difficulties and problems in the third quarter of 2025.

The provincial chairman emphasized that public investment disbursement is the top political task, requiring units to proactively review and transfer appropriate capital, and strictly handle violations in site clearance. The Department of Finance is assigned to coordinate in removing legal difficulties, while the Provincial People's Committee Office is responsible for urging the progress of each project. By the end of April 2025, Kon Tum had only disbursed more than 659 billion VND, reaching 14.2% of the plan, and strong solutions are needed to increase the disbursement rate in the following months.

Hai Phong - Hai Duong promotes advantages, expands development space towards the sea

The merger of Hai Phong City and Hai Duong Province created a new administrative entity with an economic scale of nearly 660,000 billion VND, an area of ​​over 3,190 km² and a population of over 4.1 million people, ranking third in the country.

The 159.3km-long, 4-lane expressway project Phase 1 of Ho Chi Minh City's Ring Road 4 has just completed the appraisal of the Pre-Feasibility Study Report. The total investment is expected to be over VND120,412 billion, of which the cost of site clearance is about VND41,090 billion. State capital accounts for 57.9%, including central and local budgets. The project is expected to be implemented from 2025, select investors in 2026 and complete in 2029.

The hospital consists of 4 blocks of 9-storey buildings, specializing in obstetrics, pediatrics and cancer treatment.

The investor was selected through bidding, committed to using new, modern medical equipment, advanced technology and a team of highly qualified doctors. The project will be implemented within 60 months from the effective date of the contract. Previously, the province also approved the Nhon Binh International General Hospital with a scale of 350 beds, with an investment capital of more than 637 billion VND. Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Pham Anh Tuan affirmed that Binh Dinh is promoting investment attraction in high-quality healthcare and education systems to serve the community of experts and investors living and working in the locality.
