More than 5,500 businesses closed

At the press conference, Dan Tri reporters also raised the issue of the recent situation where, in many traditional markets and busy business streets, small traders have closed their stalls and temporarily suspended business operations.

"Many households reflect that the cause comes from the pressure of anti-counterfeit and counterfeit goods inspections, while most goods at the market do not have full invoices and documents. How does the Ministry of Industry and Trade assess this situation? In the long term, what solutions does the Ministry have to both support and protect the rights of small traders and ensure that campaigns to control counterfeit and counterfeit goods are carried out effectively?", the reporter asked.

"In addition, due to the concern of authorities during the peak period of preventing counterfeit goods, some businesses have not met business conditions, invoice procedures, and sold goods of unknown origin," he said.

In addition, the management agency's leaders said that there was a small part of the impact caused by tax policies. In addition, some business households were slow to change their models, not focusing on e-commerce models, improving service quality, and diversifying products. Some related stores repaired their facilities...

In the coming time, the local market management force will step up the inspection and strict management of warehouses in the area. Along with that, the Department will review and propose competent authorities to issue amendments and supplements, clearly defining the responsibilities of field management and area management, ensuring no overlap. Regarding the amendment, the Deputy Minister said that on June 19, he submitted to the Government a draft decree on new petroleum products to replace previous decrees. In particular, regarding the price stabilization fund, according to the law on prices, it must be implemented under certain conditions and a plan must be developed to report to the Government.
