Nearly 240 athletes compete at the 2025 National Youth Weightlifting Championship

Participating in the tournament are 236 male and female athletes from 31 delegations of provinces, cities and sectors, including: An Giang, Bac Giang, Bac Lieu, Bac Ninh, Can Tho, People's Public Security, Da Nang, Dong Nai, Dong Thap, Hanoi , Hai Duong, Hai Phong, Hoa Binh, Hung Yen, Khanh Hoa, Kien Giang, Lam Dong, Lang Son, Lao Cai, Nghe An, Ninh Binh, Quang Binh, Quang Ninh, Quang Tri, Soc Trang, Son La, Thai Nguyen, Thanh Hoa, Tien Giang, Ho Chi Minh City and host Dak Lak.

The weightlifters compete in the following categories: 40kg, 45kg, 49kg, 55kg, 59kg and over 59kg (for women); 49kg, 55kg, 61kg, 67kg, 73kg and over 73kg (for men).

The tournament is an opportunity for athletes to exchange, learn, compete, and improve their professional skills. Through this, the Organizing Committee discovers and selects outstanding athletes to supplement the national weightlifting team for training and competition in international and regional tournaments.

The tournament will close on April 4.
